I wanted to show some testimonials I have received, not from brides, but from Grooms! Yes Grooms, you know the ones that really do not care about pictures; the ones that really do not want to spend a lot of money on a photographer. As you read on, you will see what the GTP “Experience” really meant to them on their wedding day.

I don't know if you'll remember us...Rita (Chiaravalloti) & Jim Gagliardi. You shot our engagement and wedding photos. The wedding was on August 31, 1996 and the photos were shot at the Audubon Bird Sanctuary in Audubon, PA. The engagement photos were taken a few weeks earlier at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. I was showing a friend of mine our engagement portraits the other day, which are hanging on our living room walls. Anyone who views them has the same response. Initially, there is excitement over them. You know, the ooos and aaahs and WOW! Then, for a moment, silence sets in because they're looking at the portraits very intently. After they come out of their trance, we are bombarded with questions about the portraits and you. It's like walking into a museum and looking at a classic painting. We relive the time at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and our wedding day frequently because of the photos you have taken. We wanted to say, thanks for the memories, we definitely won't ever forget!! It's great to know that you're still in the business!!

I just wanted to say that I had a great experience with your Team on our wedding day. The pictures turned out great and the whole day was a lot of fun. We took some interesting pictures in very interesting places. I never would have thought that on my wedding day that I would be standing in the middle of Market Street taking pictures. It was great. I would highly recommend you in the future to anyone who asked how our pictures turned out. Normally I don't pay attention to pictures but I must say that when our pictures came back I was amazed.

You photographed my wedding yesterday and I just wanted to tell you that after the computer was set up to play the slide show of a few photos from that day, I literally watched the slideshow play through at least a dozen times. I could not stop looking at the photographs. They were, for lack of a better word, amazing.

When Jeannine was first looking for an engagement/wedding photographer I didn’t understand why she was putting that much thought into it. You see, I just assumed wedding pictures were JUST wedding pictures. It is now obvious how wrong I was. Everybody that watched the slideshow was awestruck by your work. Thank you so very much and please know how very appreciative I am.

If you ever need a client reference, please do not hesitate to ask.

If you can convince both my mother and my mother-in-law that you are the right man for the job, then you’re already way ahead of the game! They had nothing but rave reviews about you even before we met. I have to admit that we viewed the photo album as something for the parents or grandparents. Of course we want lasting pictures and memories, but we’re all about the future and not the past. Meeting with you for the first time and seeing the excitement and confidence in your thoughts/plans/ideas put aside any fears we might have had, seeing as how it was our mothers who chose you to begin with! As a son it’s my job to disagree with my mother whenever possible, but maybe she knew what she was doing this one time!

...And then came the big day. I was as calm as can be (seriously!). When all of a sudden, tragedy strikes… a shorter, stockier, balder Rabbi than our own walks through my door proclaiming, “I’m your Rabbi!” I don’t think that I’ve ever been in a state of shock before, but that did the trick. I kept waiting for the punch line, but it never came. Fortunately, your assistant Brian took control of the situation, reassuring me that this other rabbi is at the wrong location and he had me take some deep breaths as if I’m in Lamaze class.

The wedding itself goes by very quickly. The adrenaline rush is so high that you just don’t notice a lot of things, like the over 2,000 pictures that you and your team took throughout the entire wedding! I remember a bunch of pictures as I was getting ready, but after that you guys were like ninjas, hiding and blending in with the crowd, all the while taking many top secret pictures of us. I did manage to spot you a handful of times in the wedding video, so you weren’t completely out of sight!

But the true genius of your work is in the pictures themselves. I cannot tell you how many times I will come home from work and see my wife sitting on the sofa, going through the online picture gallery or just sifting through the hard copies that we have. Looking at those pictures brings back all the fond memories; the laughter, the joy, the tears in our eyes, and you even managed to capture my wife throwing her FIRST bouquet into the chandelier! This was truly a night to remember and these pictures will never let us forget what an amazing evening it was.

Thanks Jerry (and team),
You’re the best!

Jerry was the first vendor we locked down for our wedding. I guess we Became spoiled early as we wish the other vendors could have been just as easy and efficient to work with. Jerry also helped us out finding other vendors. This is quite useful as planning a wedding isn't something we do everyday and vendor quality is hard to gauge. Now onto the photos:

The first photo session we had with Jerry was up in New York City for our Getting to Know You session. We couldn't believe the photos we took. Jerry put us in different poses which brought out the best features in us. I didn't think we could look that good. My wife and I had a ball with Jerry, always in good humor...regardless of how uncoordinated we were!

The wedding is naturally a chaotic day, but Jerry, Brian and Amy were well organized, professional and, most important, patient. Things inevitably got delayed, but Jerry was able to keep the bride calm, something I don't think the groom can do! We had lots of fun and the pictures showed it. I like how there weren't canned poses for the photographs, these were natural shots that really described the moment better than we could describe with words. The crew worked hard, and their efforts were well worth it as they composed an incredible slideshow during the reception highlight all the festivities. Our friends were very impressed with their work and as a testament, we have been asked by several guests for their contact information. We would definitely recommend him to our friends and family.
