What a way to end the year!  During the week as the weather reports kept geting worse and worse, I started to think - WOW Thiis could be some day!  And boy was I right!  A record snowfall fo about 24 " for Megan and Tom's wedding.  The day started off with me reminding Megan that she had to cancel her engagement session FOUR TIMES due to inclement weather,  so a snow storm was not out of the norm....lol.  Anyway the dreary weather and horrendous driving conditions did not deter anyone as everyone attended and they partied all day and night long,  P & P Catering did an outsatnding job with the catering at The Waterfall Room in  Northeast Philadelphia.  Touche the Band had the already wound-up crowd in a frenzy all night long with great dance music.  Even an appearance by the Fralinger String  Band had everyone doing the Mummers strut - no one took a break as the reception was a sea of colorful umbrellas.  I hope you all enjoy!

Here are the camera persons from Fox 29 and KYW Ch 3 and I waiting for the bride to arrive at the church!

When we photogragh weddings, we always hear how the day flies by.  Well this one really FLEW!  It was cold, and Joelle dressed in her Converse Chuck Taylor's was a trooper as I found some neat office buildings to photograph her and Dan at, and then it was on to the Country Club for more pictures at The Woodlands in Oyster Bay,  This couple assemebled quite a team for this wedding - from Sachiko Yanase the makeup artist/hair stylist who did everyone herself and had everyone ready on-time and who stayed until AFTER the bride walked down the aisle ( over and above her normal schedule),  to the engergetic and awesome Creations Orchestra featuring Pop and Dance recording sensation Kim Sozzi - this was a wedding that I am sure all the guests are still recovering from.  When Kim sang the remix of ALONE - the place went NUTS!  The Bride and Groom and their families were totally consumed in making sure everything was just perfect, and Antonio and the staff at The Woodlands at Oyster Bay Golf Club, were excellent in every aspect of the ceremony and reception.  We really want to thank all of you for allowing us to be with you on your special day, it is events like these that just make me feel very lucky I am in the profession I am in.  Enjoy !BTW Dan has won the award of being the "Best Dancer" in the groom category - his performance in the circle was one to remember!

WOW, having fun in the snow - BIGTIME!   But before I get into the wedding, I am starting this blog post a little different.  You see this wedding was very special to me.  These two ladies, Jenna and Jaime, were my nurses when I was in Jefferson with my bout with Cancer.  They took care of me, got me back on my feet quick, and made sure I was following "Dr's Orders"!  These ladies have a special place in my heart. I wiil never forget them, and all the DR's and Nurses at Jeff for the wonderful care I received when I was ill.  I owe a lot to them, but as professionals, they just  "did their job!"   Thank You!

OK....now to the wedding!  Freezing cold, rain, snow, no matter what Mother Nature threw at us, it was a blast! Jenna and Rich, planned this affair with plenty of time, a super and cooperative bridal party, an incredible party , nothing, absolutely nothing went wrong!  The Atrium at the Curtis Center looked awesome with the Christmas Tree beautifully decorated, and the decor and floral arrangements of Petals Lane Florist, making the room look magical.  Larry, Nciole, and Kelly provided the absolute best service that any couple could ever ever imagine - and I really mean that!  Central Park was the entertainment for the evening, and boy did they get the party started, and it lasted all night long. This was one wedding where I never saw the dance floor empty once!  They did an absolutely awesome job!  What else can we say but enjoy these images and slideshow, the snow made for some interesting images!     Thank you Jenna and Rich, this was one great day and we are so glad GTP was a part of it!
