This turned out to be an absolutely awesome trip, with unbelieveable people....nbsp; Never meeting the bride ( until day 1 of the 3 day wedding) and the groom ( when we JUST arrived at the hotel), we instantly became friends with them, their families, and also THEIR friends....nbsp;...nbsp; This turned out to be as one guest put it - 4 days of continous parties....nbsp; There was the car ride to the largest Cathedral in Asia, the crowd control as Tina walked down the aisle, the incredible photo sesasion after the Catholic ceremony being followed by many ...quot;onlookers...quot;, the reception at the Hyatt, where everyone was ...quot;just getting warmed up...quot;!...nbsp; Then Day 2 came with the henna and garba festivities, the Arabaian theme party, belly dancers, the BEST DJ we ever heard, and then late night partying on the beach until the wee hours of the morning ( and a ...quot;dip in the India Ocean...quot;)....nbsp; Day 3 was more of the same, as the ceremony was on the beach, awesome, colorful outfits, incredible dusk images on the beach, ...quot;mankinis...quot; all over the place ( I forgot my speedo ;-0...nbsp; ) another awesome reception with that SAME INCREDIBLE DJ; just an absolute blast!...nbsp; THEN, New Years Eve, a party without my camera, welcoming in 2010, with a huge fireworks display, Goa's own redention of a Mummers Band, meeting Russian partygoers....nbsp; OMG what a trip, so many things to tell not enough time or space to do it!

A special thanks to Tina and Dru for thinking enough about Jen and I to trust us to bring us to India for their special event. To all of Tina and Dru's friends from the UK and India, we are so glad that we met all of you, and now we can call you our friends also! To Loretta and Rishi and the staff at the Holiday Inn Goa for making our stay, and this event, a very memorable experience....nbsp; Your attention to every detail was just phenomenal!...nbsp; To Alfie from Reynold Weddings and the whole crew, your are true professionals in every sense of the word, Jen and I did not see anything goi wrong with the 3 days of events - remarkable! To the familiess of Tina and Dru, your friendship and hospitality went above and beyond anything Jen and I could ever imagine....nbsp; We cannot wait to see you all again!...nbsp; And now for the slideshow, thanks to the phenomenal DJ Merwin for the mixes for this show - everytime we hear these songs, it will bring back great memories!...nbsp; ENJOY!

]]> http://www.gerardtomkophotography.com/journal.cfm?postID=95 http://www.gerardtomkophotography.com/journal.cfm?postID=95 Tue, 15 Dec 2009 08:33:00 GMT The Woodlands in Oyster Bay,...nbsp; This couple assemebled quite a team for this wedding - from Sachiko Yanase the makeup artist/hair stylist who did everyone herself and had everyone ready on-time and who stayed until AFTER the bride walked down the aisle ( over and above her normal schedule),...nbsp; to the engergetic and awesome Creations Orchestra featuring Pop and Dance recording sensation Kim Sozzi - this was a wedding that I am sure all the guests are still recovering from....nbsp; When Kim sang the remix of ALONE - the place went NUTS!...nbsp; The Bride and Groom and their families were totally consumed in making sure everything was just perfect, and Antonio and the staff at The Woodlands at Oyster Bay Golf Club, were excellent in every aspect of the ceremony and reception....nbsp; We really want to thank all of you for allowing us to be with you on your special day, it is events like these that just make me feel very lucky I am in the profession I am in....nbsp; Enjoy !BTW Dan has won the award of being the ...quot;Best Dancer...quot; in the groom category - his performance in the circle was one to remember!

OK....now to the wedding!...nbsp; Freezing cold, rain, snow, no matter what Mother Nature threw at us, it was a blast! Jenna and Rich, planned this affair with plenty of time, a super and cooperative bridal party, an incredible party , nothing, absolutely nothing went wrong!...nbsp; The Atrium at the Curtis Center looked awesome with the Christmas Tree beautifully decorated, and the decor and floral arrangements of Petals Lane Florist, making the room look magical....nbsp; Larry, Nciole, and Kelly provided the absolute best service that any couple could ever ever imagine - and I really mean that!...nbsp; Central Park was the entertainment for the evening, and boy did they get the party started, and it lasted all night long. This was one wedding where I never saw the dance floor empty once!...nbsp; They did an absolutely awesome job!...nbsp; What else can we say but enjoy these images and slideshow, the snow made for some interesting images!...nbsp;...nbsp;...nbsp;...nbsp; Thank you Jenna and Rich, this was one great day and we are so glad GTP was a part of it!
